hi guys im about to fit roof bars along with roof box . and the aerial is going to be in the way no sign of screw to adjust aerial hight any help most appreciated. cheers
hi mate i know on freelander 1 it screws of and you can get a a small one on ebay for about 6 pound or you can cable tye it under the roof bars hope it helps mate
wouldn't worry, original is easily flexible enough to take all kinds of abuse, including being tucked under roof boxes. There is some up and down adjustment on the aerial, but they usually get really stiff or seize, as they tend to not get adjusted very often. I freed mine up with little drops of wd40 every few days or so. now it will lay flat on the roof, or nearly stand straight up like a remote control car.
