What are your views on injector cleaning additives for a 3.5 EFI at 62K
Worthwhile or nothing but snake oil?

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll run down the supermarket protection grade that's in the tank now & refill with decent fuel before adding the additive.

Do you have anywhere near by that does hydrocleaning? We have one over here in the garage and so far it's worked wonders on a good number of cars, even petrol versions. A bit of a trek to come here tho!!!

or take the injectors out & clean them with injector cleaner & 9V battery ? Few hours work, and you can then see if the spray pattern is good.

Thanks guys, think I'll stick to adding the stuff to the tank as I'm not into injector removal etc.
Not a mechanic, no proper facilities, poor close vision .. how long have you got

Appreciate the advice though.
