P.S. for people which may have the ACE failure on the road, if you need to urgently disconnect the pump in order to arrive safely home, use the belt ERR5911, which is 7PK1580. This will allow you to run it without the pump and even without the idler pulley.
I did not have this info previously and I broken the pump.

This is useful thanks, I have a new one left over Fromm my D1 so will carry it in the D2.

Anyone can help with some explanations what’s the difference between non-ACE bars?
I see there are 3 different part numbers, not interconnected.
Are they different thickness?
I see one it’s for a 7-seat vehicle...

RGB101310 - BAR-ANTI-ROLL-UNLEVELLED REAR SUSPENSION LESS ACTIVE CORNERING ENHANCEMENT
RGB101320 - BAR-ANTI-ROLL-UNLEVELLED REAR SUSPENSION LESS ACTIVE CORNERING ENHANCEMENT
RGB000180 - BAR-ANTI-ROLL-UNLEVELLED REAR SUSPENSION 7 SEATS LESS ACTIVE CORNERING ENHANCEMENT [ (V)2A736340 - ]

top one is for air suspension
second coil suspension
last one for if you have seats in the boot

Mine is converted to coils long time ago, as I prepare it for offroad.
I have 7 seats, but I never use them.
Which would be better to use? Are they different in thickness? Or do they perform with different forces?

For off road ACE is best by a long way, axle articulation is a lot better.

Have a nose at my earlier pic, on ACE and air, was the only car other than a Jimmy that made it down that section with all four wheels on the ground. I’m not convinced removing SLS and ACE is actually prepping a D2 for off road.

guys, I live in Moldova. Our offroading might be different than others.
we drive in forests and we have to exclude many parts that might fail in the field.

Air suspension, can live on our cars no more than 3-4 offroad expeditions as we have a lot of bushes and trees under our cars. Usually we break air bags under the cars in 1st or 2nd day offroading.
normally we all fit cars with lockers, and the suspension flexibility is not the biggest problem.

For me, I almost understood that I will convert my car to non-ACE. it's just a matter of time.

There is no right or wrong, its horses for courses. I like the ACE, but my old d1s and RRC went absolutely fine round corners for my driving style. When it goes ill try and fix it but based on my old cars,I’ll probably not spend big bucks and instead will spend the money on new springs and dampers which would make it perfectly adequate to drive with normal ARB setup. One less pump for the engine to run also which is another advantage.

yes, everyone is driving the car different, and the requirements are all the way different. But I am glad to receive all the opinions and be able to decide easier.

I noticed how good was the ACE when I broken it. I really loved it driving fast in corners, but I will get used without it and I expect that non-ACE bars will also perform fine.

also, I noticed a slightly power increase without that pump. anyone could confirm or infirm that?

Would make sense that without having to turn the pump you’d get the power at the wheels instead.

I would like to repeat my questions, in the hope I will get an advise from you, guys.

What are the differences between RGB101310, RGB101320 and RGB000180?
@jamesmartin told that these are for air suspension, coil suspension and 7-seats model.
My question actually is: which one is better to use when doing the conversion? Are they in different thickness? Do they perform in different way / force?

yes they are different thickness and rates, unless someone specifically asked for something different id fit the bars suitable to the vehicle ie coil air or 7 seats

Mine was a 7-seats air suspension vehicle in the past
I modified it and it has now OME suspension. So, it’s on coils now. One rear seat has been removed, so, the seats are not a factor to consider.

I would like to know which will be better to use as I modify it.
Shall I use the thicker ones? Thinner ones? Other?
What difference will be in driving?
Thicker will hold the vehicle better than thinner?

I can't tell you which one would handle better as i didnt bastardise my vehicle but IMO you should use those which were built for non SLS, non ACE, 7 seaters from the beginning cos that's what's your's became after the mods: RGB000180 rear and RBL101370 front but at least the proper one to the rear
