Just wondering, last time I used my Hawkeye to bleed my ACE after replacing front assembly, followed the hawkeye instructions disconnecting one drop link etc etc. But throughout the whole 10 minute bleed the RAM or the car didn't move once. The warning on the hawkeye states the vehicle will shake as to not be working under it etc. It didn't pass the ACE test until I took it and cornered it a bit then it passed. Although the rear just sways about... thinking either the rear ram is knackered or could it be an ECU issue.. no leaks
So surely it should have moved pumped the ram or something to bleed it, and any idea why the rear sways so much, bushes dont look bad.
@MJI I believe you've bled the system before?

i dont disconnect anything just run the program and it does shake the vehicle as it has to move the rams both ways, they are double acting rams so will self bleed eventually

I asked to know if you've done some work just to rule out the possibility of connecting the pipes the wrong way cos then the ACE doesnt record a fault but the vehicle becomes like a small boat on a wavy ocean ... can you see the fluid circulating hard in the tank with engine running? if yes read stationary live data and post the results here

I haven't touched the rear pipes, only the front which seem to work fine, judging by the state of them doesn't look like they've been messed with before though. I can have a look at live data now though

Well if this means anything to you.. guess it’s normal

Yes, it means that the pressure readings are OK, the accelerometers are a bit out but this can happen if the vehocle is not on 100% even ground... IMO the ACE system is OK, drive it as fast as you can while doing hard cornerings both ways if you find a suitable place for that cos there might be air in the LP side of the circuit and the power bleeding doesnt help much with that, the vehicle's weight against the ram is needed when it's increaed by centrifugal force

if you have bigger tyres or a body lift run a accelerometer recalibration seqience on it

Thanks for the info.
I am running 255/60/18s on it as opposed to the 55s
I have cornered it as hard as I feel safe doing so, and the rear end still flies about.
Not going to bother doing much with it till I get all the pipes made up and replaced, just seeing what might be the problem. I've got spare rams so might just chuck another on the back to make sure.

Just to add, all my shocks are pretty worn, so thats probably not helping the body roll too much I'd imagine.
