Hi guys,
Sprang a leak at the ACE block on the rear half high pressure pipe to pump. It was a little corroded and I believe the leak was expedited by the vibration caused by the cheap britpart front half (that doesn't have dampeners), which I recently installed.
Turns piout all four pipes from the front of the block all looked a pretty dodgy where they connect to the seals, so decided to replace all. Before I get slated -I REALLY prefer ACE (I've driven without and I notice a huge difference)!
Anyway, to the point...
The rear half of the low pressure pipe (which goes to resevoir) doesn't look like it has anywhere to connect to. The high pressure pipe comes in two sections which bolt together aboive the wheel arch. Do some Discos have a continuous low pressure pipe?
If so, is it possible to do a little DIY to join the new section with the front half of the old, seeing as they are "Low pressure"?
