Sport ACE bypass for RR Sport 4.2 Petrol SC

Hi all, I'm new to this forum so nice to meet everyone.

I have an issue with my beloved 2005 Range Rover Sport 4.2 Supercharged Petrol. I had the red suspension light come on showing the ACE system had developed a fault, confirmed as corroded pipes and I now know is a common fault. I didn't mind the error code and had no intention of fixing it at the prices quoted.

2 months later I get the belt squeeling noise and it turns out the ACE pump bearings had failed. So we're back to the ridiculous price to replace the ACE pump which means fixing the pipes too.

I saw ACE bypass kits available to replace the pump with a dummy pulley and a slightly altered belt to get me by..

BUT. I can't seem to find one for my exact model, the 2005 L320 Range Rover Sport 4.2 Supercharged petrol - and I don't understand why it'd be so different to the other models where they are available.

For context I use the car for local run around use only, I have no need for the ACE system to be honest.

I'm at the end of my tether as I need the car and don't want to spend £2k plus fixing a car worth not much more.

Any help or advice welcome please. Photos of the faulty ACE pump attached.

Morning all. The ACE system has not been working for a few weeks with no noticeable difference in the drive (for the type of driving I do. Mostly on my own land anyway) so at this point I'm wanting to know if it is possible - in the same way there are bypass kits for most other models - to get me by temporarily.

I would say this sounds rather like a lack of understanding of what ACE is, what it does and why you shouldn’t just remove it.

Ever time you take a corner you are using ACE.
 
Just to report back for future info, the advice was spot on and a belt for the car with air con and excluding ACE pump simply bypassed the ACE pump despite it looking like it may not work, when tensioned it's perfect. No need for a pulley / belt kit hence there isn't one for the V8 Supercharged.

Yes I am aware of the importance of ACE and that's a different topic and something everyone should decide themselves. Personally I will shortly remove the entire ACE system and convert back to a standard roll bar system but this reply was to close off this thread to say the advice was accurate.
