ACE amber light

After removing the ACE system from our discovery td5 series II we have been left with the Amber ACE light permanently illuminated on the dashboard.

Does anybody know if to remove the ACE system completely there are also electronic comments that need to be altered as well? I.e the ACE ECU?

Currently we have only removed the mechanical aspects of the system.

you dont need to remove the ACE ECU but you need the settings changed in the BCU

To be fair, you could open up the cluster, and put a bit of black tape over the ACE led.

Or, like the dealer that sold me mine, open the cluster up and rip the LED off the board with a pair of pliers. He got me a new cluster after that.

Nanocom can do it easily if you can find someone nearby.
