I have two insurance policies, one for the van and one for the landy, I had a small accident in the van a few months ago, do i have to declare this accident when renewing my Landy insurance as they are different policies ?

Hi,

You do need to declare it as it's you that has had the accident, regardless of what policy it was on.

It's the same with motorcycle claims on car/van policies, they also need to be declared however many people are not aware of this.

Thanks for your quick reply i did think you had to declare it, on another note you havent called me yet re short term insurance ?
