Hi, I no long need the AC. I have removed it and I’m left with the two hoses from the engine. Can I simply block them off? Or do they need to be connected so they can loop fluid?

Thanks!

I didn’t think the AC connected to any hoses from the engine, other than 2 from the AC compressor.

A pic may help.

I expect you mean these are pipes to connect the engine coolant to the cabin heater.
If you don't want a heater to keep you warm or demist the screen then yes you can connect them together to 'loop' the coolant.
This is separate to any air-conditioning will will have pipes connected to a pump at the front of the engine
