I had the 3 amigos come on a couple of weeks after buying the disco and found a nice guy off the nanocom locator to read the faults, f/n/s sensor came up as faulty he reset the codes and the lights stayed off for a few weeks.

Had it plugged in again over the weekend and same fault came up plus rear o/s sensor faulty, Ive got new sensors ready to fit when its stops raining my question is... in the bag with the front sensor is a short copper tube type thingy does anyone know what it is? i havent seen one before on pics of the sensors.

Also while surfing the net i came across a slabs recall (D263) for the d2 and my vin falls within the ones affected, Ive got 1 recall stamp in the service book but thats for campaign A247 does anyone know what recall that was? i cant find any info on the net.

The only way would be to contact the main dealer quote them your vin number and they will tell you what it's had done and if there's any outstanding ones

Right rear sensor electrical fault.......could this mean the sensors no good? its a replacement sensor aftermarket and gave me the 3 amigos back on after 2 weeks, the front sensor i replace has been fine

Often its the wheel bearings themselves which cause the issue,I have replaced both my front hubs at different times when the Amigo's showed and each time it cured the problem.

I'd be interested to know what the outcome is of the recall investigation you did Nathan. I have same issue and my truck is same age and spec. as yours. Keep us posted as am confused as to whether the right rear sensor fault you mentioned was the one already done in your service book? Or is this the new fault?

Would that show as 'electrical fault' tho? i dont want to be buying new hubs if its a dodgey sensor

disconnect the sensor and put a multimeter across the sensor terminals. If its goosed it will show up as an open circuit.I had new hubs fitted the 3 amigos came on shortly afterwards and the nsf sensor was kaput. Think a good sensor shows abt 900 ohms or there abouts
