Thanks for your reply. Yes i did try it with the ring and it just made a distorted mess. Am I right in saying that the 2 different drive shaft part numbers are the same but for a reluctor ring?If you pushed it in with the ring on you may have damaged the sensor??
I didn’t drift it off originally. I thought it would compress fit but it was having none of it so I did drift it off eventually.2002 should be magnetic bearings for abs and later sensors. Later sensors have a blue pug on where they connect to the vehicle loom.
Did you drift off the abs ring as it is not needed on the magnetic set up?
