You got me worried now as mine is 2 wheel tc. Changing pump tomorrow so will soon find out.

If you look at RAVE, it seems there is no control of the pump from the ECU, just the relay and the pressure switch.Yep that be the four wheel traction control one then, they do seam to be the only ones that pack up

It doesn't matter to the pressure pump whether it's 4 wheel TC or 2 wheel TC. It just supplies the pressure. Either the relay is knackered or the pressure switch is knackered simple as that. Nothing to do with ECU.

That is summer in Lancs: stairrods in summer, sleet / snow in Winter.

They definitely seem to have more issues with ABS all round. Especially considering it was only fitted for 3 years or so.

Summer was late arriving and brief, still lighting the fire at the start of June, now it's like late autumn with the temperature down to 9C a few nights ago. Just bought 6 cubic metres of logs, looks like we will be needing them soon

Check how often the pump comes on, it should only run ever 4th or 5th press of the brake pedal. If it operates more often the accumulator needs replacement before you wear out the new pressure switch.
