Have had the 3 amigos for a while, in fact, solidly on for 3 or 4 months, and arranged to have codes read and cleared.

Dropped car off at an independant dealer, he started it, drove it into the workshop, and switched it off.

On hooking up Autologic, all light were off and no codes stored. He Had not cleared them

Took it home, drove about till lights came on again, went back and got the codes read again.

Codes referring to sticking shuttle valve switches,. 0500, 0506

open circuit 0506, 501/9, 506/3, 501.8, and 500/1 ground came up

codes cleared. took car away.

Driving home and a moron pulls out in front of me, had to brake hard, chime chime, abs and tc lights came on and stayed on,

Arrived home, switched off, and on restart, only abs light is lit

I have done the shuttle switch mod, a while ago, and it seems to have made no difference, and am wondering if the switches themselves may be faulty, i did meter them, and they were at the setting shown on the slabs mod, but they may be intermittantly faulty

The shuttle valves themselves were done last year, just prior to my purchase.

Any thoughts woud be appreciated, before i strip the whole abs system out and bin it!

thanks

Thanks Guys,

I have carried out the checks posted by Sierrafery, to no avail I'm afraid

Does anyone know if the Shuttle valve switches are available anywhere other than a main dealer?

I have found a set in USa but would prefer a UK supplier

Thanks

I have this problem with the three lamps lit-can you point out where the shuttle switch you've mentioned is located, please

but those 3 lamps could be lit by many more reasons... you better read the fault codes before you start disassembling the modulator cos it could be a simple sensor/hub issue...or god knows what...see tha table below(disregard the fact that they say the brake warning must be on all the time cos it was conceived so but it doesnt happen all the time...concentrate on the 3 amigos)

Thanks for the info & links, I'll be checking the hub sensors first although I had a similar fault on a 2004 Discovery & a new battery cured the problem.?!?! I don't think I'm going to be that lucky with this car-so all your help is appreciated!
