abs light stays on after fuse blew

Hi all
Some lovely person drove into my v8 es 1996 whist it was parked breaking the indicator this let in water and the fuse blew . The indicators then stopped working and the abs fault light came on permanently as both systems are on that fuse. I replaced the indicator unit and all is well except that the abs light remains on at all times the ignition is on. The brakes work fine. I have not been in a situation where the abs would operate. Is there a simple fix for this problem as all was well before the fuse blew?

Just needs fault clearing with code reader probably.

you can erase fault codes from a D1 ABS with a paperclip too, see attachment(figures are at the end of the file)
