B4K, you had your pump REPAIRED?
May I ask where + contact details, please.
I am being told they are replaced, not fixed.
It can hardly be an engineering issue (a smallish electric motor direct driving an eccentric impeller to propel brake fluid? Spare me!!).
No I suspect it's a litigation issue: it it fails after a repair, RRC's are phat phuckers & can do some damage, I suppose! Eliminating the repair by restricting access to parts eliminates the chance of litigation? So the expense is met by the owners buying new pumps rather than Wabco? Good for Wabco!!
But if a new pump is about 30% of the car's value (1993 RR Vogue) it does not compute.
