Try putting some sandpaper/emery between the strap and the accumulator.I have a strap type but it kept slipping and cant find the chain one.
Will get a new one tomorrow

Threaten it with a rusty spoon, that should rough it upI am going to try sandpaper tomorrow and also rough up the strap a bit as it has been well used

That should be a quick fix with some new vac pipeYes all working perfectly now thanks
Next problem is cruise control but that will be another thread soon lol
