Just want to introduce myself.
Have owned a couple of Disco's in the past; first a J-reg 3.5V8i that I (quickly) converted to LPG then saved a fortune over the next 50,000 miles... sold when it was replaced by a company car.
Second a P-reg TDi - the ES with electric everything, including depreciation! Another change of job and increase in daily mileage forced reluctant sale. Since then I've run around in a small white LPG van, saving approximately £75 PER WEEK in fuel. Eek.
NOW......... the bug has bitten again, this time with an 88" Series III diesel. Needs a bit of work to get through the MOT (surprise surprise) but eager to improve it back to near its original condition.
Watch this space for numerous postings pleading for help!!! I plan to watch the site and contribute advice where possible too.
This could be the start of a beautiful friendship..................
