Hi and good morning - to state the bloomin' obvious, I am new to this forum.

My good lady (SWMBO) has a 1 year old 110 - 2.2 litre 6 speed box. Thus any proposed additions will need to be carried out with care. I have been warned.

I have a question or two for Ron - later Ron.:D
 
Hello...welcome to lz! You should get your other half to sign up if the 110 is hers... ;)

Can I ask why you have to take care with additions? Curious as to what you've been told!

Seemples - mustn't spoil it :boxing:

At this stage there's only a couple of things in the pipeline:

A stronger spare wheel support (tba when it won't give the bank manager a heart attack)
Daytime running lights - it's dark green, and we live in a rural area: see and be seen.

I'll maybe start a separate thread on the info that I need for the daytime running lights - I have a cunning plan :)
 
ahh ok, why would you spoil it? Half the fun of having a defender is bolting crap onto it :D

Thought you meant because of your warranty or sumfink!
 
OK, I don't seem to be able to post a new thread in the common questions......

So I'll be common here instead.

I suspect a lot of people have asked about daytime running lights. as I mentioned, I have a cunning plan, and all that it needs is a live feed - as in, live when the engine is running - that I can easily identify under the bonnet.

Can anybody point me to a suitable cable?

I don't even know what daytime running lights are, is that like Volvos have?

Try posting your question in Defender section, or Discovery, Freelander etc., depending on what sort of vehicle you have.:)

Not just Volvo's now, Yurp regulations for new cars (with some of the usual shenanigans)
