been looking around on here for a while now since i have got my disco and have been bailed out a few times by information on there so though i best say hi and thanks for all the information so far.

Welcome dude, great place this, lots of knowledge around. I also have a Disco, a 300Tdi. But the body has rusted to hell. Started with the boot floor. I am now planning to use the the mechanicals which are all good and mixing them with defender bodywork, like Mark Evans did with his Range Rover.

cool i havent found to much rott on mine yet feb bits of scabb but the whole underside has been waxoiled by a previous owner so fingers crossed might be ok(not holding my breath lo)

the chassie is solid as a rock lo so think iv been lucky with the one i brought.

had a few issues like wondering stearing and after replacing all track rods steering damepr and re shimming swivels and pumping full of grease it seams to have gone

still thinking of changing the dampers lo its as soft as a runny turd when cornering at more than 10mph but i expect it a bit soft witha 5" lift
