Ah now come on, I'm new to this, I've only had it just over a day.

Changing brakes pads and discs and doing oil and filter changes are a piece of pish for me. Electrics confuzzle the **** out of me and I wouldn't have the confidence to tackle anything like a timing belt.:eek:

Right, went to fix the wires back onto the fuel sender unit to see if I can get the fuel gauge working.

I was told yesterday that there will be 3 wires and it was just a matter of trying them on in different positions.

This is what I found....

Which two wires? I don't want to go trying them all incase I blow fuses. :(

Why has the 3rd contact been isolated, so to speak?

And the two holes next to the contacts, are they breathers? if so I presume crap can get into the tank.

the wires are green , black and white, only thin and are wrapped together in tape , coming from the front of the vehicle ;)
