After some fairly deep water wading! (I soooooo need a snorkel)

Not sure that this video will work? Anyway's thats my mate driving

As long as you had a good time and nothing got broken then happy days,
We all have a budget to work with ,just get stuff as and when you can afford

Never a truer word spoken! Nothing got broken as such, the intercooler did get blocked with mud/water/silt etc etc and we had to drive home without the top intercooler hose attached! (that was an interesting drive i can tell you)
We bent the side steps, but im taking them off anyway, and the rear anti-roll bar link came adrift but i managed to pop that back in when we were there..... I was very impressed with the car overall, went everywhere we pointed it, and those tyres were well worth the money!

So all in all superb!

i'd leave them steps on til you got rock sliders or you'll end up with doors like my drivers door :D

how was it up there? i couldn't make it due to a slight overheating issue with my disco :(

Working to a budget I know all about......adapt your driving and what you do with your vehicle else you'll find yourself with no vehicle and no budget.....it really is as simple as that

Glad you had fun fella and im not trying to **** on your bonfire i promise but if you got the airfilter wet then your going too deep without a snorkel.

If you hydrolock it because you dunk it too far in the drink you'll regret it. ;) Snorkel and then axle breathers should be the next things on your "to do" list.

enjoy. :)

Yeah the air filter was wet when i removed it, i think the water got as far as the intercooler but no further as there wasnt any sign of water in the top intercooler hose when i removed it, that said, if its blocked the intercooler then it must have gone through the turbo :( will know more once ive stripped it down at the weekend

snorkel was my first investment as I'd rather be stuck in water and have to be tugged out cos the tyres were naff than hydrolock the engine in the middle of deep water!

See ya in november!
