This may be the longest its taken anyone to say hello ! I joined the forum in 2008, but didnt make my 1st post till the end of last month, been lurking a lot though
I bought my 1st Land Rover (A new Discovery V8i ES Auto) in 1997 and absolutely loved it, having replaced a truly awful Grand Cherokee.
A Disco TD5 followed in 1999 and then a new P38A Range Rover DHSE in 2001, as much as I loved the Rangie, increasing fuel costs and every increasing mileage dictated that it get swapped. So I did the only sensible thing I could, kept the Rover for fun and bought a boring saloon for mile munching. . 13 years later and I still have my P38, its used for playing now, pulling big boats around and even driving to the Alps a couple of times a year
I have also had a couple of Series 3's, both 2 1/4 petrols. One was developed into a fairly serious off roader (that really didnt like water) and a fully restored one in original spec, both now sadly sold.
