94 300tdi stereo wiring

Hi all, just been sorting my botched stereo wiring. Can anybody confirm if the these 3 wires are the live, switched live, and ground.

Orange/white, black and purple

Get a volt meter but purple is ignition live.

Black - earth
White / orange - 12v ignition (to turn radio one when key is turn't - normally connected to the red wire on radio)
Purple - constant live (to yellow wire on radio)

But as Coffee mentioned double check with multi-meter

Tested the wiring, and it's as you posted stewed thanks.
Coffeelandy I think you have your wires crossed

Haha very good. Purple is ignition live in mine so there!
