Hi,

My 90 has problems. The rear floor (underneath the battery) is basically crumbling away in large rusty lumps, so much so I can now see daylight in places.

Is it possible to replace the rear floor easily, and are the floor panels available LH and RH sections or would it a case of replacing the whole lot?. I'm a tad concerned that the battery might suddenly disappear through the floor if I hit a large hole!.

Cheers.

afaik all the panels are available. try ebay.
as a temp measure i would put a plate or a couple of extra brakets under the battery just in case!
just bend a bit of sheet metal to shape, and bolt it in. 30 minute job.

Thanks.

I'll clean it all out first, give it a good dose of Jenolite or similar and then fix a plate across. Do you think 4mm chequerplate cut to size would do?.
