90 to 110 brakes - have I been an arse?

Finally...! With the France trip deadline I was sweating a bit. We hear/read so many threads of folk having Landy brake issues it's been an interesting process. I think we all need a really good quality brake bleed assist pump. I'm going to invest when I get back from France...using the little Mityvac hand pump jobbie took an age and still didn't fully clear.

Any recommendations...
 
I have only ever used the wait and see method [ gravity ] starting at the furthest from master and so on, just open nipple and wait for fluid to run clear of air, Takes little time, a few mins at most and usually a lot less. When changing a master I pour a bit of fluid in the exit hole, this is to prevent piston from sticking in a dry cylinder on first stroke . Fit and fill reservoir then open [ remove ] outlet pipe. [ if duel do both ] to make sure fluid is getting through master. If not a couple of short pumps to start it off. When running refit pipe.
 
I did have one a few years ago that just would not bleed ,:mad: got fed up and left it. Next day just opened the nipples and worked straight away.o_O:rolleyes:
 
Thanks @flat , trow a final once over/inspection then up at 1a.m Thursday, down to tunnel for 05.30 train, arrive Calais ~07.00, a steady drive til Dijon oil change...then final leg Dijon-Annecy. A steady 688miles door to door :cool:

Looking forward to hearing you got safely over.
It was a heart in the mouth job for us both sides, as you may have read on other threads.
But the paperwork went OK.
So in our place now working on the fecking rear brakes, oh, funny, didn't you mention something like that?;):eek::rolleyes:
