90 Interior Trim (fornt and back)

Hi all,

Newbie here so be gentle.

The front headlining is ripped and tatty (mainly around the sun roof), the back has nothing whatsoever. What are the cheapest ways of getting some lining in and adding some sound deadening? I've looked at new interior trims and they are mega bucks. Obviously, I want it to look reasonably good too.

Ply lining with carpet on top?

Hello.

I have recently done some lining on the sides of my 90. What I used was camping/yoga mat on the side panels (which are cheapest at outdoor stores), and then EVA Stable matting on the floor and anything which needs to be hard wearing

KwikWall EVA Stable / Trailer / Horsebox Wall Mats - 6ft x 4ft x 10mm Thick | eBay

Use high temperature spray adhesive

2 Tins Trimfix High Temperature Spray Adhesive 500ml Cans | eBay

I have more to do, but so far it has made a massive difference.

Excellent, good idea on the yoga mats. I think I can get those fairly cheap...but they'd have to be black

The floor already had a nice thick rubber mat, so it's just the sides and roof. The glue will be ok going direct on to metal?

Yeah, I used it straight on metal. It is essentially evostick, but will withstand baking in the sun.

I used double sided sound insulation pads on some stuff and the camping mat is just as good.

I used black carpet tiles and spray on evo stick from B&Q for the back. Easy peasy, and looks OK. Use plenty of glue. As a guide, I used just over a large tin to do the rear roof.

Just in process of doing mine, camping mates 4 x £5 at Halfords stuck direct to all panels, faux leather 4mtr x 1.5mtrs wide £10 per metre, poss cheaper off ebay good quality contact spray cover one panel at a time, do the sides in sections.

Does anybody know if a 110 roof lining can be cut down to fit a 90?

I have the one I took out of my 90, it's in good nick apart from the covering coming away. Could easily be re trimmed .

done mine in 5mm ply then mega streatch carpet, re covered headlinning too

megavan stretch carpet from ebay, spray on adhesive glue, the high temp sort.
