Frizington Cumbria

firstly remove the sides and roof them undo all the bolts and lift it off simple really :D
ohh and get rid of your number dont no whos browsing the web these days ;)

don't forget the seatbox to bulkhead bolts and the under seat brackets (3 of them IIRC) Oh and the filler neck needs separating from the tank. also seatbelt mountings have to be undone as well

I would put each set of nuts and bolts and screws into tubs or bags and label them. The rear corner bolts from the body cappings can be a bit of a mystery to put back if its your first time. Take pics.... only takes a few minutes but could come in handy. Consider replacing the seals, roof to windscreen, sides etc and a line of Tiger seal or silicone when fixing back..... a tool to remove the studs from the headliner is very handy.

Headliner?? fook me yu must have one of them posh 90's :D :p

yu fogot to mention the wiring in the rear O/S corner.

Why is every one saying 'unbolt'? don't they simply *snap*
Well most of mine did, which was great because seized nut 'n' bolts take ages to unbolt.
Look on ebay for replacement nuts+bolt sets.
Buy multiples of the packs as they are NEVER complete and being stainless don't rust
LAND ROVER DEFENDER,S3 ,STAINLESS STEEL 30 FLOOR SCREWS on eBay (end time 21-May-10 22:13:00 BST)
LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90 110 STAINLESS CROSSMEMBER BOLTS on eBay (end time 22-May-10 10:44:20 BST)
LAND ROVER DEFENDER STANLS X-MEMBER BODY- CHASSIS BOLTS on eBay (end time 10-May-10 20:41:54 BST)
That's all on Eripoff, They don't rust and look super.
Or you could just buy a load of normal nuts and bolts:D
