Ahh - you were miles ahead of me. Nice to know that these btooth modules are available - I was hoping for something like it (bt or 2.4GHz) for my project, and like you want to do away with a head unit if I can.

They seem to be a nice bit of kit, - there is a version with a small control unit too,

i need to work out a way to connect to FM radio, but failing that there is always pandora/ spotify etc...

i don't think thats going to be an option, i have no screen/ head unit to contol it from, unless i can control it from my phone and convert the USB to RCAs?!

regards

finally got round to painting my spare this evening, (final coat)

originally i has sprayed it black, but decided to go more traditional... i think it should look good...

2 coats of primer and two of NCJ (Limestone)

Only 4 more to go.....

I adore this land rover! My fave colour and sooo tidy!!
The audio install is exactly the sort of thing i was contemplating for my 90. Keeps the dash clear and everything nicely hidden!

Cheers

Thanks Rich!

What is the general opinion on fixing 'character' - there are a number of dents, creases and bits of paint missing in certain location, i cant decide weather or not to fix them up, or to just leave them,

same with the rear Tub, obviously its all scratched up, but should i fix it up?!

ill post a pic of some of its "Character"

Front wing is damaged with a crease down to the back of the wheel arch, along with front corner dent, paint missing from bonnet, near hinge,

should it fix it up?!

I wouldn't bother - but it's your car and you should have it exactly as you want it. If you do go for factory-fresh now you can always change your mind and put the dent back...

I would definitely leave it alone!
if it was a wreck needing new panels, bulkhead repairs that would result in paint removal etc then maybe I would go the whole hog on the bodywork but I would say yours is perfect - smart enough to turn up anywhere (although I turn up anywhere in mine which has bags or 'character'!!) but with a lovely patina that others would strive to replicate!
Please don't 'fix' her!
(But as someone already said, she is your Landy and you must do what pleases you. Sod what everyone else thinks!!)
