I mentioned the PTO, as you could drive a 2nd transfer box off it and then drive an axle off that. I believe a company in the 1980's early 90's used to do this.

Trouble with two trans boxes and a pto is I doubt you would have room for a workable rear prop.
 
I know fook all about these 6 wheelers.. but I'm genuinely interested in seeing some photos of a properly done ones vs a bad ones please :)
 
Have a look on foley sv's website and you can see the correct way to split and extend a chassis for 6 wheels, you dont nail another bit of chassis on which apart from being nasty will cause problems when you go for a ministry inspection as it will be considered to be made from a unknown doner and get a q plate.
 
I can see the idea, but it looks abit daft tbh, why have a dead space behind the seats that can only be accessed by leaning over the front seats?

Actually I did a cab like that and it works well when you are tailler than 5'6" as you have room and somewhere to chuck yer junk
 
6x4 can be worse than 4x4 , as the third axle can take the load off the 2nd effectively making you FWD only , which can be very embarrassing :(. so its 6x6 or 4x4 JMHO
 
I think I had or remember seeing somwhere around front axle case kicking about for an 8x8 somone put a diff (well half a diff case just the pinion in place of the diff pan) Feck knows how they got to mesh correctly.

Drive in through and out seemed a good idea but hey ho

As a tradesman who might be in need of something like this, the design is flawed. Having a tipper is fine, but with the size of it i can't see many trades utilizing it, even tree surgeons who may use it would be a bit peed off dragging climbing gear, chainsaw, cutters out of the back. I would've thought a csw would've been a better choice with the bulkhead behind the aecond row of seats? At least you'd have access for storage of tools after ripping out a seat or two.
