Aye. I remember driving a Magirus-Deutz bonnetted 6x4 tipper and all it wanted to do at T-junctions was go straight across..
Anyhoo..... mibees do ye think I should extend a LWB rather than a SWB?
Might be a good idea. In the days when a minimum wheelbase length was legally required in order for the truck to gross 22tons I drove a AEC LWB tipper that conformed to the regulations & didn't seem to suffer from the 'push-ahead' trait. The downside was an increased turning circle, but you pays 'yer money .....
