Assuming he drove for 24 hours. yes. but if he only drove for 12 hours then that's an average speed of 183.3333333333333333333333333333333333mph
Sorry should have said i did stay there for a couple a days...But i did the 1100 or so miles in 1 hit, with regular breaks of course and loadsa coffee....is my maths bad or is that an average speed of over 90 ? based on a round trip of 2200 ?
Door to door about 20 hrs...and it can be done to the uk as well best for that was 16 hrs in me old Volvo T5 before France decided to get radar..Assuming he drove for 24 hours. yes. but if he only drove for 12 hours then that's an average speed of 183.3333333333333333333333333333333333mph

Itsa true had to get there for a surprise new years 3oth left in the morning and got there at 2 oclock the following morning in portugal ..ok maybe a little less than 1100 miles but there abouts..max i did in 1 go with outta break was 3.5 hrs then stopped for a **** and some coffee and off i went again...yer yer yer pull the other one
Worst part was outside Sevilla as road there was like a roller coaster but the rest of the trip was good as mostly motorway...give it a go and let me know it is def possible...Hmm so averaging 70 to 75mph and above on spanish and Portugese roads through the mountains.. I still don't believe ya.
Just done it on via michelin the portugal trip was roughly 1400 kms as i went from roses to roughly an hour the other side of faro, cant remember the name of the village but faro was the nearest known resort, and the uk trip is roses to swansea about 1500 kms so ok i admit im a little off on the miles just done a conversion portugal give or take 900miles, Uk roughly 937 miles thats based on the via michelin...but i didnt go directly by their route changed things as i went because of traffic etc so add a couple more miles on each trip also for uk i allways avoid paris puts a few more miles on the journey and a little bit more time but a lot less hassle..Give us your start and end points then and i'll stick em in my mapsource european and see what it comes up with.

No the Bastard broke down in my village when i was taking my son to his Taekwondo class thats when the clutch bracket gave out...so i think its short trips that kill em...oh go on and admit it, rather than keep changing yer mind just admit that what you meant to say was that you took yer hippo to Tesco and back (round trip 11 miles) and it didnt break down once
