Good afternoon all.
Yesterday I was on a 5 mile trip when clouds of white smoke suddenly appeared behind me. I limped to a friendly garage who found most of the transmission oil had blown out of the diptstick(no lght came on). This morning he topped up and went on a 500m test but again the oil had started heading up the dipstick tube indicating a blockage of some sort.
Does anyone have any idea whether a breather is blocked, or torque converter knackered (his suggestion) or anything else I can look at. A possible cause could have been the engine overheating on the last run out - I just forgot to check the coolant level the other day (empty) and had to run the P38 gently home in the red.
Any help would be very much appreciated!
