4.6 V8 OIL LEAK

Hi all,

I have an 03 Disco SE7 it has the cursed Buick engine. Basically my question is...
There is an oil leak coming from either side of the engine. It is right where the engine mounts are. the same on both sides. I cannot see from above or below what is leaking and was wondering if anyone had some more information? Is this a common problem? and where or what is leaking exactly?
Any help would be appreciated.

Best thing to do is clean the engine & then look for where the leaks are coming from (highest point of leak) - between block & head / front or rear of engine / front cover etc. Valley gaskets can leak easily on these. Also check your breather pipes from the rocker covers for obstructions / collapsing etc. If these block the crankcase pressure gets too high & the valley leaks.
