HELLO,
I have a problem with my Range Rover, it is a 1996 4.6 HSE, I keep my vehicle in excellent condition, however I have a problem that I need help with.
When you turn on the ignition the battery light does not illuminate and I get the message ALTERNATOR FAULT. I have removed the Instrument pack to see if the bulb had blown, (It hasnt). The alternator is still charging the battery ok, no problems there at all, I booked my RR in at my local RR dealership in Newport pagnell, Milton Keynes, and was told that I need a complete new Instrument pack.
I wondered if anybody has experienced a simmilar problem and If anybody here knows If the Instrument pack can be repaired.
Many thanks,
Lockesboy.
