P38A 4.6 GEMS '95 ABS DIAGNOSTICS

It says C & D type. I'm thinking about investing in one for my Thor 4.0. If I can use it to sort the ABS issue on my Gems 4.6 makes it even more worthwhile I guess! I'm hoping the second hand ABS ecu has stored faults in it already, hopefully I just need to clear them and will be good for the mot.

The other day I had all the ABS lights on and no brakes. Nanocom said all the wheels were rotating normally. Checked all the relays and fuses etc as pump wasnt running. Whacked the pump with a screwdriver and all was well so I Reckon diagnostics arent always needed

Think it was around 400 with shipping and all that, worth while bit of kit to have. I've also bought the EDC software so can read the diesels now, going to get the thor at some point too. I've only seen one come up once and that sold within about 10mins lol.

I tried buying one on Thursday through the nanaocom website. £360 with the motronic licence, plus £30 odd quid postage.
Filled out delivery details and completed the order without seeing any payment page, then got an email saying someone will be in touch to process payment.
Haven't heard from anyone as yet.

Just to update on this, I never got a reply from nanocom about the order I placed last week. So I went for the Hawkeye pro, what a bit of kit for the money! Works on both my Gems & Motronic system. Reads ABS on both and a lot more I was to unsure to risk playing with. It seems you can connect to the BECM and alter immobiliser settings but need to look into it more.
Anyway diagnosed my gems for needing an ABS sensor then can finally get it back on the road.
Will add my location onto IR as it seems this bit of kit isn't model specific to one LR, keen to find out!
