Yeah. Kick down is also when the gear box drops a cog when you are travelling and then boot it.Hiya,

What? What gear will it go down to from first?Sorry, this only happens from standstill so will it still try to kickdown in first?
Pull away with your boot on the floor and up shifts will occur much later and probably at or near peak rpm.Location:

Slight problem, 1st gear pull away steady to quick ok. Pull away with a bit of a squirt doesn't want to change up! Any ideas? Your thoughts please.

we are talking a 4.2 classic ?Apparently it had a gear box service including flush and oil change.
