Just bought and installed one of these - from this guy - http://www.deftcad.co.uk/product/land-rover-defender-phone-holder/

Works really well and fits perfectly.

Hi - its not - not in any way affiliated - I just think its a good product and one of the few actual practical uses for 3d printing that works.

I was a little sus but as Scotland is far away from company map location.

But would have to say would be more convincing with a pic of yours fitted and not a pic from the website:eek::)

Anyway what’s wrong with a map and the arguments between reader & driver:D:D somethings are lost when tech takes over:).

I plug my phone into head unit to play music and this acts as a good place to hold the phone securely. I am old school - compass and map......

Agree re photo - will post a photo of mine later

I use'd to drive to London every night from Lancashire to do a couple of bank jobs in the city and then scarper back to John Lennon airport to catch the flight to Man.
Different banks every night and the london AtoZ stuck ont steering wheel.
Them were the days, no mobiles or sat navs 30 years ago...

Don't think my 16 year old cave man nokia will fit. I have gone all modern with a prat nav, I attach the sucker bracket thing to a tin of tuna (or tin of pineapple slices if I'm feeling in a healthy mood) and drop it in the cup holder. Works a treat :p.
