32/34 jetting

Hi there wondering if anyone is running 2.5l dtml Weber carb on a 2.286 .I have a dtml on now that is jetted for the 2.286 110 5br donk . wondering if the jetting on the later 2.5 could improve anything .reason being I got the 2.5 carb for not much, cheers Andy

Mines on a 2.5 dmtl. I think I went one size smaller on the second idle jet but that was a tiny tweak that didn't make much difference. I can double check the jets next week if you like. I am running a skimmed head and acr cam but it ran the same on a stock cam

According to Glencoyne the 2.5 jetting improves low speed throttle response considerably on a 2 1\4 lump

So far as I know the twin choke weber fitted to the early 2 1\4 ninety/oneten is exactly the same as on the 2.5 apart from the jetting so it should be a straight swap.

Planning on doing mine when the spindle wear on my Zenith annoys me enough.

Found this, it shows jetting difference between the two ,might try mix and match see what happens
