these ones..

Land Rover Defender Set of 4 Wheel Spacers 30mm inc Nuts | eBay

what i meant is, some spacers are just flat, with no lip to hold the rim on. i remember on my vw that this type of spacers made the steering wobble..and when i put spacers with the lip.. like the ones on the link, it was fine.

so i guess the spacers on the link are better than just flat?
but they dont come with the nuts that hold the spacer to the hub, thats why i was asking

sorry just re read the posting and nuts are spacer to wheel , maybe able to get the nuts from a engineering/fastner stockist as is standard theard so shouldnt be major problem

if you take a sample to local stockist and depth of spacer or take spacer with you should be able to match up for you if you ask them

looking at the spacers, as the hole for the nut that holds the spacer to the hub is so big, is that so you can use the standard wheel nuts?

the spacers look chanfered too, just like the wheel nuts are.....

anyone knows if this is the case? just use the standard wheel nuts to hold the spacer to the hub? and i mean the standard steel ones, as they are shorter than the alloy ones, like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVE...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2314c50e2b

Met Rick this morning and picked up the spacers :)
They are made by "BULLDOG" and a guy called simon sells em on ebay

Got some thread lock so i'll get em on before it starts raining :)

Fitted the spacers earlier , were easy enough to fit, used plenty of thread lock and tightened the nuts to 150 ft/lb torque.
The tyres are sitting slightly out from the body but only by around 10mm

Does look good, haven't done a road test yet :)

I've fitted mine 2 weeks ago, looks really good and better turning circle...

did you put loads of copper grease between the spacer and hub? if you didnt it will weld itself together..

I got 30mm with lip, like these ones

Defender 90 110 130 Wheel Spacers

looks like this now
not the best of pics though..

only think to check...is tyres dont stick out beyond arches..anick if you can see the tread..

also keep an eye on wheel bearing freeplay... as extra load on them..(i check mine once a week, along with everything else,(brake line damage, any rust appearing, bushes etc..dont take long..)

give the wheels a rock (in and out ),preferably with wheels off ground..looking for freeplay..

check busters guides, its there how to renew wheel bearings

if you need to adjust is easy, take drive flange off (after removing bolts and circlip), undo the first nut, bend back locktab washer, tighten second nut.

Another option is negative offset wheels from Garage & 4x4, just got a set of 8x16 mods with -35mm offset! Fill out my 50mm arch extensions nicely with no need for spacers. They cost £200 delivered for 4.

As a side note on the spacers, I have 30mm fitted on mine and have just discovered a novel additional use, if your drive flange bolts shear off for any reason, the spacer keeps the flange in place and stops the circlip from coming under too much strain and coming loose hence you loosing a drive flange, and probably stripping the diveshaft too.

My passenger side (drivers side to most of you guys) flange has just lost all its bolts after a particularly hard few days off road, they had come been bodged in by a previous owner and i hadnt got round to checking that wheel yet, but the spacer has saved the day and taken the strain, new hub ordered and all will be good again ;)
