As the title says, I have a 300tdi from a disco still attached to the R380 gearbox with all ancilliaries rad , intercooler plumbing etc (except starter motor).
Was going to use it in my series 3 but would prefer a 2.5n/a diesel with an LT77 (short bellhousing) instead.
The engine ran well before I broke the vehicle and assume the gearbox is ok as well, if anyone has a 2.5 that runs ok without too much smoke with an LT77 and they want to do a straight swap let me know before I put it on e-bay
