right... got mine fitted last night! works perfectly
The one I got (seemingly from a P38) does support cruise control, but i was told by the scrappy that they all look identical anyway.
Also, you are right - it does need to be centered. Push in the locking pin, rotate anti-clockwise as far as it will go (without applying excessive force) and then rotate 2.5 turns to the right.
It should rotate 5 full turns with the locking pin depressed. My steering wheel only rotates 3 turns lock to lock, so actually there is a bit of play in it, but get it spot on otherwise it may wear out faster I guess...
