Well got myself another problem .
Decided to give it a run along the street just to make sure before MOT, .Hard to explain really but it seems to want to change gear as soon as possible , It Idles fine and goes round the field fine but once on the Tarmac it seems to rev quite quickly needing to change gear fast, 1st and second nothing really there but once in to third it wants to fly, first time out it was chucking white smoke out. second time running the same but not much smoke.
Any Ideas,
.

Anyone shed any light on this ?
Seems to be revving to high, will try and get Vid.
Imagine if you jus wanted to trundle along at 20 mile per hour in second gear or 30 mile per hour in third gear, it just wants to go faster so you want to go up a gear if that makes sense, Sorry but Im hopeless at explaining things.
So close to MOT now.

what are you saying revs rise on their own or its just more powerful

if it feel uncontrollable its pump governor failing if not and its not smokey its running well
Dont think its uncontrollable, It does not take off on its own only when I press throttle but it feels that it wants to go up a gear well before you should have to.
It does not do it on the field for some reason, just as soon as I drive down the track and hit the Tarmac. Will try again tomorrow in second and go slowly along the street.

watch exhaust for smoke or not as well

White smoke is symptomatic of air or water getting in to the fuel lines or cylinders. Is there any sign of fuel leakage around the injectors or the steel pipes that come from the fuel pump ?
Oh no not Air in the fuel lines again, just had a major problem with that.

Right had a change of thought on this after another go talking my time. Not really a lot of power there, But seems to run better once out of first gear, then seems to run the same in third fourth and fifth. It can pull away from standstill in any gear even Fifth. or you can get right through the gears to fifth and only doing maybe 20 mile per hour. Got a couple of vids where you might hear what's going on, will post them up later.

1st vid just took it easy, stayed in second for first half then went through the gears . second vid went through all gears without getting over 20 , as soon as you put foot down a little more it wants another gear.
No smoke at all when changing, but definitely not right, sound like its Revving to high or can anyone make anything else out by listening to it ??
Hoping this one is a cheap, quick easy fix, getting a bit disheartened now after all the other problems I've had along the way.

presumably your not pressing the pedal quite so aggressively as it sounds, does the throttle lever on pump seem free enough and springing straight back when let go

No Just really touching the pedal, although it does sound like I am stamping on it . lever is free and springs back .

Why does it sound like that? turbo sounds strange from what I am used to hearing on mine. The turbo spool when you change gear?

Cheers
