For reluctant sale (aren't they all!) Is our 1997 300tdi pop top defender. When we bought it 5/6 years ago it was a completely standard station wagon and we have built it into what you see today. By the way, it's grey not black!

It is also posted on Ebay, so the below has been taken from there. Happy to discuss / show anyone who is interested around. Looking ar offers around £25k, but happy to discuss.

No expense spared pop top overland camper fitted with lithium 12v system, diesel heater, upgraded seats, drive train and engine. This vehicle has been serviced every 6 months and wanted for nothing. The interior has an L shaped seating area made from three different units, which can also convert to a sleeping area, being made from separate units allows this to both be a 2 seat and 5 seat camper (second row seats included in sale). Drop down table on the rear door and gullwings on both sides allow everything to be easily accessed from both the outside and inside.

Endless list of work has been done to this truck, we have got a full list of everything done, the date, and cost which we can give to any prospective owners. But below is a brief snapshot:

- Solid chassis & bulkhead, no rot at all, and has been treated professionally with Buzzweld. Galvanised rear door.

- 50mm suspension lift

- 285/75/r16 tyres (new in May 2024)

- Gwyn Lewis (GL) mud guards, GL steering arms, GL drop arm conversion, GL wide angle / heay duty A frame ball joint, GL front double cardan prop and GL wide angle rear prop

- New brake discs and pads all round in May 2024

- 105Ah lithium battery set up with auxiliary fuse box, lots of 12v / fast charge USB points throughout

- 40l drinking water tank and 12v tap

- diesel night heater with outlet into both the sleeping area and the second row unit (can be used as a drying room)

- Bonnet and spare wheel storage, roof bars, storage everywhere!

- Mazda RX8 seats are fitted and modified for access to battery compartment. Included are the original seats which are in brand new condition having been reupholstered and fitted with heated elements.

- Wright Off Road matting fitted in front cab and the rest of the camper is sound and heat insulated making for a very quite Defender

- Smaller steering wheel (original can be included if required)

- Recently fitted new Ashcroft transfer box with limited slip differential.

- Short shift gear selector

- Full width intercooler, duel inlet manifold, hybrid turbo, brand new and tuned injection pump, new silicone hoses throughout, EGR delete, GL 105ah alternator with upgraded stater motor cable,

- LOF clutch

- Locking tree sliders for extra security, rock sliders with tread plate, tubular winch bumper (no winch) and can also come with the original standard bumper too,

- ORE LED lights all round
