Tried that mate. Ran out of adjustment, even with no pin in. Basically ran out of elongation with the adjustment holesyou stick in a smaller drill bit, like 9mm and try. do it by .5
Haha sorry mate. I could retard the timing with a 9mm or 8.5mm drill bit. But I'm on maximum adjustment for advancing. So my maximum advancement is factory setting.
We tried that mate. Spent a whole afternoon trying to do that. But with the cam being locked in postion the belt was either too tight or too loose. It kept returning to the same position each time.when fitting the belt you need to do it so you can advance the slot. i'd redo the belt
Did that last week mate. Here's a picture of the cam markings
I've adjusted them before and after the belt change. No luck either way
It's a new vacuum pump and lift pump
I'm going to try dad's injectors. And see how I go from there.
