I have an oil leak coming from the engine on my 110. It's not too bad but is something I would like to get sorted. From what I can see, the oil is coming from somewhere above the oil filter housing, dripping from bottom of oil filter and onto my driveway from bottom of differential casing. Can anyone give me an idea as the the likely culprit(s) for the leak. Cheers

Me too, can't find it, I'll need to steam clean the engine sometime and have a better look, I have replaced the oil cooler pipes and checked the oil filter and changed the pipe on the oil breather, but still leaking. Possibly the oil filter housing itself.

Have you looked at the oil switch. I think that's above the filter.

I had the same. Replaced the oil pressure switch above the oil filter and cured it

Ive got very similar. It seems to come from that area, but then drip off one of the angular peices off the bottom of the engine nearest the sump
I'm laughing as I read these replies as my leak is identical on my 300tdi. I've gone through several combinations of washers for my oil pressure switch but leak still there. Recently purchased a new switch and will try cleaning the area as suggested above then install it and monitor. Kinda hard to troubleshoot that area as it is difficult to see what's going on. Ha, thought I was the only one battling that problem.
