Hi there ☺️

Diff has recently been covered in oil coming from above- engine oil. Gave a good clean up to the engine and gave it some road to see where the leakage might be coming from.

Drops can be seen forming on one of the oil cooler pipes (crimp area) and filter bottom. However, the area directly on the filter is soaked also from above.

Vacuum pump has no leakages and the gasket used near the oil filter area is also free of leaks. This morning I gave a good clean up to the breather canister however, these oil drops are still visible.

Pictures for reference.

I would put a spanner on that union with the rubber pipe and see if it will nip up a tad. As you say oil may be coming from above but that is the diesel injector pump. Air flow when driving can sling oil all over.

Get yourself some brake cleaner, clean it up then see what is going on.

If you wipe that oil drip off the oil cooler hose, is there a small hole in the steel ferrel?
