Hi people I have come to the decision that it is time to sell on my stop gap car now that my auto car disco will be on the road within the next two weeks.
Fitted with a front tubular winch bumper - no winch fitted.
This car is now just sitting as I do not have the time to do the work it needs to get through and MOT. I have used it daily for the last 6 months until the MOT expired and its been a very good car. Mileage is circa 160k and HG was done within 2k miles ago along with a full engine service using genuine land rover parts. She also has a new radiator fitted and she now shows no signs of getting hot at all. Always starts well and has plenty of power. All 5 tyres have loads of tread on them as well.
On the bad side.
No MOT and on SORN
For MOT she will need
N/S swivel ball and offside CV joint.
Rod that connects outer door handle comes off on the offside rear door meaning it can only be opened from the inside. This should be easily fixed.
Welding rear of chassis needs welding in 4 places.
Nearside rearmost body mount needs welding.
Nearside sill needs to be at a minimum patched.
She also needs to be re-bushed. Poly bush set will be with the car.
Other issues.
Interior is tatty but servicable.
Not all windows open.
Window switch panel is broken so you sometimes have to play fetch the button
Drivers window mechanism is broken so that window will not close. But the wind deflectors fitted keep the rain out.
Offers in the region of £600 the parts she would yield alone are worth more than that.
