Disco 1 300tdi GS P reg

Just got another Disco, there's a few problems as there always are the problem up to now is no intermittent wipers and no wipe with the washers, not that important' but it led me to investigate the multi function unit. What a bloody stupid thing to put into a 4x4 that supposed to go every were, I've looked at the circuit diagram and its so complicated just something else to go wrong, I've read some threads about it and people say just check for dry joints ect, well I have made a few printed circuit boards and to check this one with all the surface mounted technology it takes a microscope to inspect it, an utterly daft contraption.

I hope for your sake it ain't the cream coloured one, new they're about £250. I've had all sorts of gremlins on my electrics and have the unfortunate luck of having the cream coloured one.

Theres a few on ebay cheaper but at the moment its only intermittent wipers and wipe with wash so I can live with that.
