Thanks Chris.

I don't think it's the clutch that's the issue, because I've put it in 2nd geat, turned the crank and the whole vehicle moves. So to me that means the clutch is on the splines?

Also spoke to magicgrotto (thanks mate). Who suggested remove the slave cylinder to relieve the pressure off the release bearing and fork. Still no luck! Still can't get the bas***d to fit together.

I think it's the spigot bush too tight fit?

OR you could REAM it a little !
Peace of ROD 8/10mm or BOLT ! (if bolt cut head OFF) CUT down the centre deep enough to get some EMERY PAPER & WRAP it round enough so that it's a tight fit in the bush & start the drill up ! IT should take some bras out & make the hole bigger !
Worth a try !

I was more meaning to check the spigot bush was fitting the shaft and everything's lining up as it should. Mite save you a lot of ****ing about.

Just checking basics. Definitely 300tdi bell housing?

Definitely 300tdi R380 and not some variant with a longer input shaft?
