300tdi disco help me please

as i cant drive any longer i have to keep the wife happy & at this moment she is not, the heater fan is running slow & i am wonering if there is a relay or ecu which controls this if so where do i locate same or have you any other ideas as i dont want to strip the dash out cos i think the motor might be okay it just runs slowly while i am on can you also solve another problem i have been told that the ecu might be gone for my rear windows as there is no power to the switches is this right or not? THANKS

There is a guy from felixstowe who will be along in a mo.

the window ecu suffers dry joints and is repairable by a competant diy'r, theres pics and details on here, but need to search for them.
have you tried putting the blower control to no.4?

can you advise as to where i find ecu as i believe there are a few for different jobs

or just to keep you amused
One would express the help of Ones subjects as One is going to go back to roots & get Ones hands dirty as the saying goes you will or maybe remember that One used to drive Army trucks when One was much younger but now One just calls Ones show fer oh you know what i mean " the geezer that crawls around at 5 mph in a flashy old Bently or Rolls" anyway if you could assist One with this problem One would be most grateful of couse One could not pay you for this assistance as One does not carry cash another problem you see One has to order Ones staff to do the purchasing of anything One requires so once again One must show appreciation & thank Ones subjects for their kind assistance or as Ones subjects would have it said "CHEERS MY BEAUTY THANKS FER THAT"
